On September 29, APW launched their manifesto for a post carbon future in response to the Auckland Council’s vision to become the world’s most livable city as presented in their Auckland Unleashed Discussion Document - a vision, APW assert, that ultimately fails to prepare Auckland for huge global challenges ahead. The Manifesto was based on the submission APW made to Auckland Council’s Discussion Document released in July 2011.

PERMACULTURE DESIGN CERTIFICATE and ONE DAY WORKSHOPS

Auckland Permaculture Workshop (APW) offer a wide range of workshops that engage and inspire people in developing sustainable living solutions. Participants learn design skills that integrate the environment, people and technology to create resilient ways of living for themselves and their communities.

The Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) is a 72-hour internationally recognised qualification. Certificates are achieved when participants complete 12 workshops and a design project.

Permaculture is a design approach to sustainable living modelled on natural ecosystems, integrating human settlements in healthy and productive environments
